Service Team Members
Bussers focus on Guest needs by maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere throughout the day. Clean tables, floors and restrooms make a big impact on the Guest experience.
Hosts are the first person to greet our Guests, with a warm welcome and a smile. Introducing first time Guests to our scratch made food on the way to the table sets the stage for a great experience.
Servers spend the most time with our Guests, introducing our hand-made food and assisting Guests in finding the dish they crave. Placing our Guests First through timely and attentive service creates positive impressions and builds lasting relationships.
Bartenders serve up a Wow! Experience in the form of hand-crafted cocktails along with a delicious meal in our casual bar atmosphere.
Culinary Team Members
The Dish Palace plays an important role in providing a great experience for our Guests. Clean dishes keep our Guests safe and provide the best platform for our handmade food.
Goodness made from scratch starts with basic prep work. Our natural simple ingredients require hand preparation to be included in our recipes.
A lot goes into our handmade food! Cheddar’s kitchens are larger than most, allowing our cooks to focus on preparing each menu item the right way, not the easy way.
Culinary Assistant (Expo)
Once each dish is prepared, the Culinary Assistant provides the final touch and ensures that each dish is prepared to order and served promptly.
Team Members who have mastered the skills required for their position continue to build their leadership skills, and may become certified to train new Team Members joining the team. Certified Trainers work with the Management team to ensure the Service and Culinary teams remain strong.
Team Members with proven leadership skills are encouraged to Step Up to be considered for Service Team Lead or Culinary Team Lead positions. Both the STL and CTL roles are responsible for supporting the Management team in delivering a Wow! Experience to our Guests through superior service and quality handmade food. Team Leads assist Managers with limited supervisory duties, including additional coaching as needed throughout the shift. The Service Team Lead plays a key role in making table visits and actively visiting with Guests. The Culinary Team Lead impacts every area in our Heart of House, including receiving deliveries and assisting with monthly inventory counts.
Interested Team Members may apply for the Certified Trainer or Team Lead positions. Once approved, Team Members will participate in a dedicated training course to become certified for these pivotal roles.
