Hourly Team Members are the strength of our business. Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen Team Members work together to put the needs of our Guests first throughout the day. Flexible schedules and a great team atmosphere allow us to provide a Wow! Experience for both Guests and Team Members.
Team Members who have mastered the skills required for their position continue to build their leadership skills, and may become certified to train new Team Members joining the team. Certified Trainers work with the Management team to ensure the Service and Culinary teams remain strong.
Team Members with proven leadership skills are encouraged to Step Up to be considered for Service Team Lead or Culinary Team Lead positions. Both the STL and CTL roles are responsible for supporting the Management team in delivering a Wow! Experience to our Guests through superior service and quality handmade food. Team Leads assist Managers with limited supervisory duties, including additional coaching as needed throughout the shift. The Service Team Lead plays a key role in making table visits and actively visiting with Guests. The Culinary Team Lead impacts every area in our Heart of House, including receiving deliveries and assisting with monthly inventory counts.
Interested Team Members may apply for the Certified Trainer or Team Lead positions. Once approved, Team Members will participate in a dedicated training course to become certified for these pivotal roles.
