A 5th grade class proposed the name "Cheddar's" when our founders, Aubrey Good and Doug Rogers, asked for restaurant name suggestions.

There’s nothing better than a home-cooked meal, but not everyone has access to one.Here at Cheddar’s, we’re helping to fight hunger in America through our donations to the Harvest Program. Every week we donate unused food to the local food banks who participate in the Harvest Program.

Each day we “harvest” surplus, wholesome food that isn’t served to Guests and safely prepare it for donation.


Our Team
We can’t put great food on your table without the 23,000 Team Members in our lobbies, kitchens, and dining rooms across the country. They’re greeting Guests with a warm smile, hand-breading our chicken tenders and serving up homestyle favorites every day.
